The Ode to Joy challenge
In 2024, marked by the European elections which took place in June 2024, we also celebrate the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's iconic Ode to Joy. This masterpiece embodies the values that define our shared European identity: freedom, peace, and solidarity.

Unleash your creativity and reimagine Beethoven's Symphony with your own artistic flair! From symphonic orchestras to rap, dance, theater, flash mobs, creative videos, graphic art, and storytelling, there are no boundaries to your expression. That's the #Ode2Joy challenge!

Who's in?
The challenge was open to all in Europe, including non-EU countries. Use any European language. Individuals, groups, Civil Society Organizations and NGOs all welcome!
